Jonathan Toole Obituary

Jonathan Wade Toole, age 54, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 3:11 pm on Thursday January 30, 2025, at his residence. Born on December 30, 1970, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert and Alice (Davidson) Toole. Jonathan attended Warren Central High School and graduated with the Class of 1989. He then attended Vincennes University for printing. Jonathan was a manager at Applied Thermal Technologies for the past 8 years. Jonathan was known best for his poetry, lyric writing, drawing, and candle making. As a musician, he was a big Hip-Hop fan and member of the band Choir of Chaos. Jonathan had a keen eye for spelling. He was a sharp wordsmith and founding member of the Grammar Police. Survivors include his mother Alice Toole of Ingalls, IN; brother Nick Toole of Ingalls, IN; nephew Cai Toole of Greenwood; and his beloved beagle Charlie. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Toole. A celebration of life for Jonathan will be held at a later date. Arrangements by DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Jonathan may be made to Whitley County Humane Society.
