Julia Duncan Obituary

Julia Ann Duncan, 81, of Hamilton, Indiana died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1944, in Hamilton to Glenn and Fern (Stout) Duncan. Julia was a lifelong Hamilton resident with strong interests in local history and genealogy. Julia loved her family, animals, wildlife, antiquing, and going to garage sales. She thoroughly enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in her later years. Surviving are nephew Charles Hanes, nephew Richard G. Duncan, niece Connie Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Duncan and Richard K. Duncan; and four sisters, Phillis Hanes, Donna Jacob, Ellen Duncan, and infant, Carol Sue Duncan. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Hamilton Cemetery. Preferred donations to: Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department- Steuben County, 7760 S. Wayne St. Hamilton, IN 46742. Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.
