Laura Logan Obituary

Laura S. Logan, 62, of Kendallville, Indiana died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. She was born November 23, 1962, in Kendallville to Jack and Betty (Edwards) Smith. On December 20, 1986, in Kendallville, she married Perry Logan. Laura was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching birds, gardening and flowers. She loved playing games with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Perry Logan of Kendallville; a daughter, Nicole (Kevin) Knafel of Albion; a stepdaughter, Maria (Greg) Christenson of McCordsville; two grandchildren, Keith Knafel and Kyle Knafel; two step grandchildren, Seth Christenson and Alexa Christenson; her mother, Betty Smith of Searcy, Arkansas; four sisters, Carol Sheets of Searcy Arkansas, Jackie Hackett of Searcy, Arkansas, Shirley DeRose of Fort Wayne, and Teresa Grimes of Auburn; and a brother, Charles Smith of Hazelton. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Smith. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in rural Kendallville.
