Linda Tracy Obituary

Linda Nace Tracy, 81, of Sidney, Ohio went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025 at the Landing, an assisted living facility in Sidney. Linda was born June 30, 1944 and grew up in Whitley County and graduated from Larwill High School in 1962. She graduated from LPN school in Fort Wayne. In 1966 she moved to Staunton, Virginia, a relaxing country area where she continued her nursing career and became an RN. They moved back to Churubusco where her husband finished his college career in Fort Wayne to become an engineer. In 1974 they went back to Staunton, Virginia, where she joined the same hospital, she was at before. She was there until she retired. She held many supervisory positions. They had one son, Thomas and five Grandchildren. Her husband passed away in 2021, and she was legally blind so her son moved her to Ohio to be closer to him. Linda and her husband both worked tirelessly for their church, St. Francis of Assisi. She was a Eucharistic minister for 15 years in Staunton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sr.; son, Thomas Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sherry, and her parents Wilmer G. and Katherine Deutsch Nace, and sister, Connie Rames. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 S. Line Street, Columbia City.
