Lois Neuhaus

Lois A. Neuhaus, 88, of New Haven, died Friday September 19, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Lois was born in Fort Wayne on July 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Benedict and Luella (Pranger) Bramas. She graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '55 and on October 15, 1960, she married Goerge Neuhaus, whom she had met when both worked at International Harvester. George survives after 64 years of marriage. Lois is also survived by sisters, Judy Lortie of Columbia City and Sharon (John) Fosnaugh of Fort Wayne, along with several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Vevia and Patricia Snow, and brothers, Richard Bramas, Eugene Bramas and Robert Bramas. Lois was a member of St John the Baptist Parish in New Haven and was steadfast in her faith. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed working puzzles and watching football with George, and her greatest joys were the times she spent with her family & friends. Funeral Mass 11:00am Thursday September 25, 2025, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St. New Haven, with visitation from 10-11am in the church. Visitation also from 4-8pm Wednesday at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave, with the Rosary at 3:30pm. Burial in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
