Lucille Olhausen Obituary

Auburn – Lucille Olhausen, 92 of Auburn passed away Monday May 19, 2025 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn. She was born December 27, 1932 in Hampton, Iowa to James Earl and Minnie (Lursen) Moore. Lucille taught elementary school before she had her sons. After they were born, she was a stay-at-home mom, running the household and raising her family. She married Robert L Olhausen on June 30, 1956, in Hampton, Iowa and he passed away September 24, 2013. Lucille is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Kurt and Wendy Olhausen of Westfield, Indiana and Ross and Marcy Olhausen of Kennesaw, Georgia: 7 grandchildren, Katie Olhausen, Kyle Olhausen, Melissa Olhausen, Lindsey Olhausen, Alex Olhausen, Ali (Aaron) Tallman and Jake Olhausen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, June Muford. Private family services will be held at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, Auburn, IN. Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, Lucille would want memorials given to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her beloved husband.
