I was so fortunate to have had Mary as a teacher for all four of my children! I loved being a room mother as she always was so easy to please and appreciative. As a teacher she was kind and nurturing and always had control of her class.
I would often describe her to others as the face in the dictionary under KINDERGARTEN TEACHER! My love and sympathy to her family. She will truly be missed!

Mrs. Hornak will always have a special place in my heart! She was my teacher 36 years ago and every Christmas, I still hang an ornament she made for me that year on my Christmas tree with a tag stating it was from her. St Jude's was so very lucky to have her! Rest in peace, Mrs. Hornak.
