Mitchell Duane "Mitch "Brenner, age 63, of Muncie, IN, passed away at 7:48 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at his home. He was born on Monday, April 16, 1962, in Portland, IN. Mitch married Teresa (Adams) Brenner on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Muncie, IN. Mitch spent his early years in Dunkirk, IN. and attended Westlawn Elementary School and then attended Jay Co. High School. Mitch worked as a machinist for several years and later worked for GSI. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and rebuilding starters and alternators at his father in laws shop. Mitch loved Halloween and scaring his grandchildren. Mitch will be forever missed by his Wife - Teresa (Adams) Brenner, Muncie, IN, Parents- Jackie & Sharon (Mock) Brenner, Dunkirk, IN, Daughters - Amber Brenner, Nashville, OH, Ashley (John) Shaw, Decatur, IN, Jacqueline Cline, Celina, OH, Amy Butler, Muncie, IN, Tina Butler, Muncie, IN, Son - Steven Butler, Muncie, IN, Sisters - Michelle (Joe) Martin, North Myrtle Beach, SC, Julie Hale, Dunkirk, IN, Lori Green, Dunkirk, IN, 18 Grandchildren, and several Nieces & Nephews. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at Tomlinson Cemetery located at 5301 S. Old State Rd. 67 Muncie at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2025 with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie. Military rites will be conducted by the US Army. Memorial donations can be made to Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W.
