Karen was born November 11, 1942 , in Winchester, IN, to Richard and Sylvia (Fenimore) McCartney. She was a 1960 graduate of Muncie Central High school. She was married to Wallace Evans Sr. She worked in the medical field as a transcriptionist.
Karen enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She also loved her golden doodle Ginger
Karen is survived by daughter Michelle (Harrod) (John) Himes, Scott (Sherry) Harrod, Adam (Wendy) Harrod, John (Charity) Evans, Roger (Mary Kay) Evans, Wallace (Kim)Evans Jr. Richard Evans, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
Karen was preceded by her husband Wallace Evans, Parents Richard and Sylvia McCartney.
All arrangements are entrusted to The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory and online condolences may be left for the family at www.meeksmortuary.com
