Nancy Dusing Obituary

Nancy A. Dusing, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born in Saint Joseph, Michigan to the late Archbold and Anna Mae (Cahill) Hooker on June 4, 1929. Nancy worked as a secretary for the State of Indiana. She attended Purdue University and was an avid Purdue fan. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 40 years, Dale Dusing. She was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Armstrong. Nephews Martin Brown, Anthony Brown and Thomas Cooney. Survivors include her nephews and nieces Matthew (Kim) Brown of Angola, In., Christopher Brown, and David (Tina) Brown, Fort Wayne. Angela Brown of Santa Clara, Ca., Ellen (Todd Reed) Brown of Boulder, Co. and Molly Cooney and Amy Lambert of Fort Wayne. And many friends and caring neighbors. A Funeral Mass celebrating Nancy's life will be at 11 am on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the Shriner's Children's Hospitals or the diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend.
