Patricia Scofield Obituary

Patricia L. "Pat" Scofield, 86, of Howe, Indiana died Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange. She was born April 23, 1939, in Kendallville to Carl and Lola Marie (Miller) Kline. On September 8, 1956, in First Baptist Church, Garrett, she married Russell Dean Scofield. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2019. She retired from Sturgis Molded Products in Sturgis, Michigan. Pat enjoyed crocheting, reading, and flower gardening. Surviving are three daughters, Beverly A. Jordan of Wolcottville, Deborah S. (Robert) Barks of Three Rivers, Michigan, and Barbara Davis of Howe; fourteen grandchildren, Angelina Evers, Christopher R. (Christopher E.) Jordan, Felicia R. (Ricky) Williams, Alexander C. Slone, Jammie (William) Yuhas, Jessica Johnloz, David Johnloz, Gregory Scofield, Richard Davis, Jr., Robert Davis, Devin (Kara) Barks, Haley (Kyle) Morris, Robert Barks, III, and Derek Barks; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandchild due any day. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Becker and Barbara Owsley; and five brothers, Carl Kline, Billy Kline, Oscar Kline, Raymond Kline and Frank Kline. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Woodruff Grove Church, 4860 S 450 E, Wolcottville with Pastor Chris Wild officiating Visitation will also be on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service all at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Howe. Casketbearers will be Christopher R. Jordan, Christopher E. Jordan, Alexander Slone, David Johnloz, Robert Barks, III, and Mike Owsley.
