Randy Lash Obituary

Randy Gene Lash, age 67, of Kendallville, IN, passed away at 6:30 am on Wednesday July 16, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born on July 24, 1957, in Kendallville, IN, he was the son of Eugene Warren and Phyllis Jane (Smith) Lash. Randy attended East Noble High School and graduated with the Class of 1975. He then attended Ivy Tech Community College. Randy worked alongside his dad in excavation for 20 years in addition to being a truck driver, where he was able to see the world through his windshield. Randy enjoyed operating all the heavy excavating equipment he could anytime it was available. Survivors include his daughters Naomi (Allan) Hovenden-Simmons of Columbia City and Krista (Fernando) Santayana of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren; siblings Cheryl (Keith) Ellert of Waldron Lake, Janie (Doug) Shull of Massillon, OH, Kristopher (Sherry) Lash of Middlebury, and Michelle (Kent) Yoder of New Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gathering for Randy will be held at a later date.
