Richard Klink Obituary

Richard C. Klink, 84 of Angola, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at home with his family by his side. He was born on November 26, 1940 on the family farm in Hudson to Wayne and Lilly Mae (Feeney) Klink. Richard honorably served his country for three years in the United States Army. He married Janet Hanna on March 19, 1967 in Ashley. Jan resides in Angola. Early on, Richard bought a dump truck and hauled on his own for several years before buying a gravel pit in Angola in 1979. He owned and operated Richard Klink Sand and Gravel before retiring in 1997. Even after retirement, he screened topsoil and continued to haul with his one ton dump truck for several years. He was never one to sit for long, he always had to "be on the move." He enjoyed collecting old cars and Cushman scooters, restoring old tractors, riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting and mowing his grass and keeping his property in top shape. Most important to Richard was spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with and attending the activities of his two granddaughters, Janna and Jaelyn…they were his pride and joy. Survivors include: His wife of 58 years, Jan Klink of Angola. Daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeff Fee of Angola. Two granddaughters, Janna Fee and Jaelyn Fee. Sister, Linda Buss Perkins of Wolcottville. Sister, Ruth Ann Rowlison of Kendallville. Sister, Lilly Till of Fort Wayne. Brother and sister-in-law, George and Marilyn Klink of Wolcottville.
