Richard Teller Obituary

Richard L Teller, 74, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, in Kendallville, Indiana. Richard was born on February 19, 1951, to Richard and Beatrice (Keys) Teller, in Bear Creek, Michigan. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. On April 1, 1976, Richard married Carol Mae Optholt, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Richard enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR, as well as old movies. He enjoyed his time with his wife, Carol. Surviving Richard are his wife Carol; daughter Cheryl (Carl) Adams, of St Petersburg, Florida; daughter-in-law Wanda Sleeper, of Albion, Indiana; brother Robert (Margo) Teller, of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren Bryan Adams, Jennifer Adams, Erik Adams, Kirk Adams, Joshua Sleeper, Chelsea Sleeper, Zachary Sleeper, Jessica Ganske, Jimmy Ganske, and Justin Ganske; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Beatrice, son Scott Sleeper, and daughter Cristy Teller. There will be no services at this time.
