Roscoe Nunn Obituary

Roscoe C. Nunn Sr., 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Harlan, Kentucky, on October 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Lena (Helton) Nunn. Roscoe proudly served his country after being drafted into the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge. Following his service, he built a career as a truck driver and later retired from T. J. Nowak Supply Company. Roscoe was known for his independent spirit and simple pleasures. He enjoyed early mornings, building model cars, and cheering for his beloved Chicago Bears. He also appreciated good food-always spiced with his hot peppers-along with a cold Miller, Winston cigarettes, and flipping through his favorite magazines. He is survived by his children, Christopher (Annette) Kreidt, Kristie Nunn, Roscoe Nunn Jr., and Ryan Nunn; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him home. In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
