Rosetta Koontz Obituary

Rosetta Ann Koontz passed away July 14, 2025, at The Waters of Huntington. She was 90. Rosetta was born on July 30, 1934, to Earl Kenneth and Edna Olive (Fair) Wall. She married Claude Koontz on January 18, 1953. He preceded her in death in 2008. She enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid reader. Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughters, Ramona Diane Poulson and Susan Marie Koontz, one granddaughter and siblings, Barbara Bowman, Helen Hardacre, Linda Runion, Viola Baker, Violet Fairchild, Margaret Wall, Kenneth Wall, Billy Gene Wall, Sandy Stell, Sharon Easterday and Thomas Edward Wall. Loving survivors include her children, Barbara Kay (Phil) Griffith, Claudean (Charles) Ellis, William Earl (Traci) Koontz, and Tina Marie (Bryon) Kelley, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and sister Evelyn Fisher. In honor of Rosetta's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Indiana.
