Sandra K. Lips

Sandra K. Lips passed away at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1953. Sandy was a member of the 2nd graduating class in 1971 at the new Blackford County High School. Sandy wore several hats in her career life. She worked at the Montpelier Glove Factory and was also the receptionist for the Montpelier Herald. Sandy's most recent and continuing work was with her husband, Bill Lips, at Lips Auctions and Antiques. Sandy loved to look for antiques. She enjoyed decorating with her various treasured "finds". Sandy also loved to read, spend time with her family, and spend time with her sibling's family. Sandy is survived by her husband, Bill Lips Jr., Montpelier, IN, son, Adam Lips, Montpelier, IN, Grandsons, Darren and David Hodges, both of Montpelier, IN, Luke Lips, Hartford City, IN, sister, Susie (Dick) Fishback, Shamrock Lakes, Hartford City, IN, brother, Steve (Pam) Reff, Montpelier, IN, and several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald E. Reff & Katherine R. (Herring) Reff. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Hodges and son in law, Grover Hodges. Sandy was cremated and a private family remembrance will be held at a later date. Any donations in memory of Sandy may be given to The Red Door, part of the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
