Agnes Nyemscek Obituary

Agnes Nyemscek, 81, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Complete Care at Lehigh. Her husband, George L. Nyemscek, passed away on December 8, 2001. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kryczan and Anna (Liberda) Merker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Whitehall. Agnes was a graduate of Dieruff High School, Sacred Heart School of Nursing and L.C.C.C. Nursing Program. She was a registered nurse, working at Sacred Heart Hospital for 5 years and later HCR ManorCare in Bethlehem for 30 years until retiring. Survivors: Son, George Nyemscek, Jr.; and Brother, Joseph Merker. Services: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Whitehall. Interment in Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: Lehigh County Humane Society or Forgotten Felines.
