Albert Erdosy Obituary

Albert "Abby" "Al" Erdosy, 77, of Allentown, Artist, passed away on Sept. 20, 2025 from Colon Cancer at Riverton Rehab & Healthcare Center. He graduated from Tyler School of Art in 1969. An exceptionally talented artist, Al was known early on for his hard-edge abstract paintings, prints and watercolors. Later his focus changed to large, intricated woodcuts. He is survived by his son, Matthew Erdosy of Bryn Marw, PA, Daughter, Daria, wife of Marty Linville of Roxborough, PA, ex-wife Scarlet Erdosy and long-time companion, Mary Schneider. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Dorothy (Buckeye), Sister, Carol Marton and Brother, John Erdosy. Service held privately at the convenience of the family. Services entrusted to Allentown Funeral and Cremation Services.

It is with great saddest that I read that a fellow classmate of NHS Class of 1966 has passed away. RIP Al. Our class had many fond memories.
