Alex Paar

Alex "Sanyi" Paar, a cherished family man and respected community member, passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on August 3, 1961, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George Paar and Eva Herenkovics, and a beacon of strength and love to all who knew him. Alex grew up in a close-knit family and carried those values of kinship throughout his life. He graduated from Easton High School in 1979, laying the foundation for a career that would be marked by dedication and skill. Alex worked as a Maintenance Mechanic, a role in which he took great pride and through which he formed lasting friendships and associations. He was a passionate father to his daughter, Christina Taub, and Son, Sandor Paar Jr., instilling in them the virtues of hard work and compassion. His role as a grandfather to Penelope, Philip, Petra, and Derek was one he cherished deeply, and his love for them was boundless. He found his greatest joy in the laughter and achievements of his children and grandchildren. Alex's siblings, Laszlo Paar of Bethlehem and Linda Paar of Port St. Lucy, FL, along with his late brother George Paar, shared in the joys and sorrows of life's journey with him. Alex's life was a testament to the enduring power of family. His presence at family gatherings was a source of comfort and happiness, and his absence will be felt profoundly. His nieces, nephews, and extended family members will remember Uncle Alex as a man of warmth, generosity, and humor. He had a unique ability to make each family member feel special and loved -a gift that will be remembered and deeply missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home.
