Anibal Burgos-Quiles age 78, passed away peacefully at daybreak
on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Abington Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Anibal was a resident of
Philadelphia. Loving son of the late Victor Burgos-Rivera and Francisca
Quiles-Burgos.
The dearly beloved father of Westy Burgos, Gabriel Burgos, Eliud
Burgos, Anibal Burgos, Anibel Burgos, Ephraim Burgos, Nesvier Burgos, Emmanuel Burgos, Idalis Vashakidze and Breciendi Burgos. The doting Grandfather of 24 Grandchildren and 7 Great
Grandchildren.
The caring Brother of Victor M. Burgos, Nilda Burgos, Jose A.
Burgos, Idalis Burgos-Miranda, Joel Burgos, Betsaida Sanchez and Mervin E.
Burgos.
Anibal was an avid tradesman who built and ran his own business
for decades, a tenured Boiler Engineer for St. Joseph's Hospital.
A lifelong Fisherman who loved going out on his boats. And a great musician with a love
for the guitar, Cuatro, and singing for his loved ones.
Anibal was a loving and caring man to his parents, siblings,
children and grandchildren taking care of everyone without concern for his own
health.
He was a great friend who would drop anything to lend a helping hand.
Anibal was an old-fashioned type of man's man. And his loved ones will forever miss that enchanting bright smile and infectious laugh.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on
Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home 10975
Academy Rd. in Philadelphia. Anibal's service will start at 5:30 pm, followed by his viewing
from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Anibal will be laid to rest in his beloved island Juana Diaz,
