Anna F. Moyer

Anna F. Moyer, 90, of South Whitehall Township, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family. She and her husband, Melvin E. â€sHooksâ€t Moyer, Sr., shared 71  wonderful years of marriage. Born in Coopersburg, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Daub and Ella Mae (Diehl) Lewis. Anna attended Allentown High School. She devoted her life to caring for her family, but she also worked briefly as a clerk in the Silverware Department at Hess’s in Allentown. Anna was a member of the former St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and the former St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, both in Allentown. She was also a member of the Fairview Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and played on the women’s bowling league at the Allentown Rose Bowl. Most of all, Anna loved to cook for her family and tend to her gardens and house plants. Survivors: Her loving husband, Melvin; four children, Melvin E. Moyer, Jr. and his wife Rose of Orefield, Audrey M. Slough of Whitehall Township, Gail D. Infanti and her husband Anthony of Greenville, South Carolina, Dawn M. Fenstermaker of Allentown; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Anna was also preceded in death by five siblings and two sons-in-law, Wayne Slough and Robert Fenstermaker. Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Allentown.
