Anna M. "Kushmanik" Serina

Anna M. (Kushmanik) Serina, 91, formerly of Lansford, PA, passed away on September 29, 2025 at Paramount Senior Living. Born, November 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Anna (Kralick) Kushmanik of Branchdale. She was married to Francis "Frank" Serina on November 28, 1959. She graduated from Riley High School in Pottsville. Anna was employed at Honee Bee Blouse. Anna was an active parishioner of Lady Star of Sea Parish in Branchdale and a member of the Sodality. She was an active parishioner and baking crew member at the former St. Michael's Church and former St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Lansford. Anna was a member of the St. Michael's School PTA. Anna and her husband participated in the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Dialogue Group. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the BPOE and served as the Recording Secretary. She was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol's and the Hazleton Area Center for Slavic studies. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis "Frank". She is survived by four children, Anne, wife of Mark Fidishun of Sugarloaf, PA; Brenda, wife of William Blair of Greencastle, PA; Francis and spouse Cristi of Mechanicsburg, PA and Mary, wife of Dave Serino of Pinckney, MI; Grandchildren, Brett Fidishun and spouse Ashley, Megan Blair and spouse Maddy, Ryan Blair and fiancé Erin, Brooke Dull and spouse Colton, Brady Serina, Anna Beisel and spouse Chad and Gretchen Serino; three Great-Grandchildren, Kaelyn Fidishun, Mason Fidishun and Henry Beisel. Many Nieces and Nephews; sisters, Rose Smith of Branchdale, PA and Mary Jean Morgalis of Pottsville, PA; brother, Anthony of Jonestown, PA. Services will be private.
