It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony Nicola Pellegrini, aged 61, on May 24th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a cherished and devoted father to Michael and Marisa Pellegrini.
Born on May 8th, 1964, and raised in Philadelphia, Anthony was the son of Anthony and Elsie (Morley) Pellegrini and younger brother to John Pellegrini. He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved older brother.
Anthony graduated from Jules E. Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia in 1982. He then went to RETS Institute of Technology for his Associates in Electrical and Network Engineering.
In his professional life, Anthony worked as a Senior Network Engineer and provided contracted services to leading companies such as Vanguard, Merck, Pfizer, and IBM. His expertise, work ethic, and dedication to his craft earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. Anthony was known for his problem-solving skills, his deep understanding of technology, and his ability to approach each project with precision and care.
Outside of work, Anthony had a deep passion for life and enjoyed many hobbies. A lifelong lover of football, he passed on his love of sports and athleticism to his children. He also found great joy on the water, particularly at Lake Nockamixon, where he spent countless hours boating and fishing. Off the water, he was a member of the local Skippack Bocce League and loved his daily walks with his dog Max on local trails. He cherished the time spent outdoors, often sharing these moments with family and friends.
Anthony's commitment to his Catholic faith was a guiding light, and it was his strong belief in God's love that sustained him through every trial. Anthony was a member of the Catholic community at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, as well as the Knights of Columbus. His love for the Eucharist and his commitment to his religion were cornerstones of his life and provided him with a sense of peace and fulfillment.
Anthony is survived by his children, Michael and Marisa Pellegrini, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. His children were his greatest joy, and he will be remembered for his love, wisdom, and faith. As a father, Anthony had a no-nonsense approach to parenting but his presence was always steady and caring. His children hope to honor his memory by carrying all his lessons and the values of hard work, dedication, and perseverance that he instilled in them.
His children would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
American Diabetes Association or the
National Kidney Foundation, continuing Anthony's legacy of generosity and service to others.
All who knew Anthony are invited to join the celebration of his life at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473, where a viewing will take place from 10-11:45 AM, on Friday, June 6, 2025, followed by a Catholic Mass. A private service and burial will be held at Green Mount Cemetery in Philadelphia.
