Astrid J. Brown, 89, of Pennsburg, formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Pennsburg Manor. Born on August 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Maude (Kinney) Rex. She was the widow of Donald M. Brown, who passed away in 1989. Astrid was employed by the former Hess' Department Store from 1971 until her retirement from Bon-Ton Department Store over forty years later. In her spare time, she loved roller skating and playing pinochle. She also loved watching the Olympics, specifically figure skating and curling. Brown (Lynn), grandchildren Kimberly Wagner (Craig), Amanda Brown (Ryan), and Matthew Brown (Ashley), great-grandchildren William, Ella, and Emmie. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Rex.
