Barbara Kresge Obituary

Barbara Jean Kresge, 73, of East Stroudsburg, died February 12, 2025, at home. She was the wife of Randy Scott Kresge with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Sargent) Weiss and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. She worked at Fernwood Resort, Mt. Airy Lodge and Keipers Laundry. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, diamond painting, baking, collecting peacocks, arts and crafts and most importantly being around family. In addition to her husband, surviving are two daughters, Tammy Kresge Elsayed of Stroudsburg and Linda Kresge Huntley of East Stroudsburg; seven siblings, John F. Weiss III of Kingston, Carl A. Weiss of East Stroudsburg, Judy L. Klinger of East Stroudsburg, Deborah M. Bergey of Canadensis, Robert W. Weiss of Tannersville, Rodger W. Weiss of Bartonsville and Troy A. Weiss of Snydersville; 15 grandchildren, Daniel James Moyer, Kenza Nicole Kresge-Moore, Samone Courtney Guillaume, Cody Michael Moyer, Tamia Rae Guillaume, Darren Guillaume, Angela Nicole Moyer, Raymond Anthony Guillaume, Alena Marie Martinborough, Brandon Charles Rusch, Levi Dakotah Rusch, Persaus Natalie Huntley, Skyla Janelle Huntley, Zayana Louise Huntley and Layla Jean Huntley; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan A. Bigger. Services will held on Wednesday, February 19th, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with viewing beginning at 1:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
