Barbara Rupp Obituary

Barbara Ann (Saeger) Rupp, 88, of Macungie, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Luther Crest Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late William J. Rupp, Jr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Earle A.D. and Hallie C. (Snyder) Saeger. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Alburtis. Before retiring, she taught elementary education at various school districts as well as assisted in the office of her husband's business, Bill Rupp State Farm Insurance Co. She was a member of the Lower Macungie Historical Society, the Macungie Institute as well as the Shelter House Society, Emmaus. She will be remembered for her love of travel, being an avid gardener and she especially loved time with her family Survivors: daughter Catherine, wife of Eric Holm of Kutztown; grandchildren Mason of Kutztown, Madelin of W. Palm Beach Fl, Jennifer of Halifax, Nova Scotia; great granddaughters Carleigh of Halifax and Kendall of Sydney, Nova Scotia; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marian Whitner. Services: 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown, PA 18102. Calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM. Memorials can be considered to the PA German Cultural Heritage Center, c/o the funeral home.
