Barbara Thomson Obituary

Barbara Thomson, 90, of Hatfield, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was the wife of the late Charles V. Thomson, who died December 19, 2010. Born December 10, 1934 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Anna (Miller) Fehr. Mrs. Thomson was employed at a number of local companies, including American Olean Tile Co. She retired from North Penn School District having worked as a bus aide and cafeteria assistant. Barb was a member of the German American Social Club, Lansdale, and Hatfield American Legion, Post 933. Survivors include her children, Linda Roberts (Mel) of Lansdale, Charles Thomson, Jr. of Hatfield, and Christine Shanaman (Craig) of Hatfield; four grandchildren, Ryan Shanaman, Corrine Morton (William), Cody Thomson (Kyle), and Charles Thomson III; one step-grandson, Jason Shanaman (Regina); and a brother, Charles Fehr. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
