Barry Clair Stroup

Barry Clair Stroup, age 83 of Palmerton, PA passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital Carbon Campus in Lehighton, PA. Barry was the loving husband of Lorraine E. Stroup who preceded him in death on May 29, 2023. He was born in Palmerton, PA on September 7, 1941, son of the late Clair and Mary (Silliman) Stroup. Barry had worked as a Produce Manager for the former A & P in Brodheadsville, PA and Mt. Pocono, PA for 39 years, until retiring. He attended Faith Alive Church in Palmerton, PA. Barry loved to play Pinochle and played with his friends in a league in Palmerton, PA. We have been blessed with the presence of Barry in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his children: Kevin Wuest of New Ringgold, JoAnn Siderias and husband Michael of Macungie, PA, Elizabeth Beahm of Palmerton, PA and Keith Kuehner of Trachsville, PA. He was the loving grandfather to Jeremy Wuest, Jamie Tomac and husband Chris, Larry Lutz and wife Danielle, Roxanne Trainer, Tiffany Koenig, and great grandchildren: Christopher, Sydney, Matthew, Ava, Xander, Sebastian, Mackenzie, Jameson, Maverick, Madison, Logan and Julian. Barry is also survived by his siblings: Brian, Billy, Clair Jr., Marie, Sarah and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Lorraine, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Richard and Barbara. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
