Brice Sperandio Obituary

Brice S. Sperandio, 90, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Marilyn J. Sperandio with whom he shared 72 years of marriage. Born in Houston, Texas, he was the son of the late Sam and Dominica Sperandio. Brice was a devout member of the Church of St. Luke in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. During his working career, he was employed by Sandvik Inc. as a metal manufacturer. He was more recently known for his volunteer work at Pocono Medical Center where he assisted in transporting patients and guiding guests and families, always taking this position seriously and greeting everyone with a smile. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Brice was a former board member on the committee at LaBar Village and was always willing to lend a hand anywhere he was needed. Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Debra Zimmerly and her husband, William, of Lincoln Park, NJ; Karen Contreras and her husband, Greg, of Duncanville, TX; Lisa Bell of Lincoln Park, NJ; Susan Riesebeck and her husband, Gary, of Landing, NJ; Shari Sperandio of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Christina Riesebeck; Stefanie Del Russo; Aaron Riesebeck; David Zimmerly; Alyssa Walker; Evan Contreras; Garrett Bell; Elise Bell; great grandchildren: Cameron Walker; Coy Brice Walker; Aria Walker; Ashton Walker; Gabriel Contreras; Lucas Contreras; Olivia Contreras; Holden Riesebeck; Madeline Del Russo; Grant Del Russo. He was preceded in death by his grandson Brice Contreras. There will be a viewing on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Father Michael Quinnan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 12:00PM at the Church of St. Luke, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Entombment will follow at Prospect Cemetery. Many, many memories of Brice and Marilyn. Was a wonderful mentor to me and offered as guide through the opportunity to be his direct manager.
He was much more than a boss and welcomed my wife and I to stay in his home.
The world is less off with his passing.
