Carol J. Orendock

Carol J. Orendock, 80, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Michael E. Orendock, who died in 2012. Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late James and Grace (Eisenhart) Cook. Carol was a 1962 graduate of William Allen High School. She began her career as a seamstress in various sewing factories. Later, Carol worked in Housekeeping at Good Shepherd for 25 years until retiring in 2012. She was a member at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Allentown. Survivors: Daughter, Lori A. Rivera and her husband Rudy of Allentown; son, James M. Orendock and his wife Tracy of Allentown; 5 grandchildren, Casandra, Max, Kyle, Emily and Sasha; 6 great-grandchildren, Mario III, Myra, Emma, Carter, Alexa and Alliana; her beloved cats, Hannah and Ramone. Carol was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Avalon. Services: A funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 4 PM until the time of the service. Interment for family will be private at a later date.
