Charles Clark Obituary

Charles R. Clark, Sr., 83, of Wilson Borough, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus. Born December 26, 1941, in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Arlene (Pope) Clark. His wife of 64 years, Marie E. (Snyder) Clark, passed away March 1, 2024. He retired from the former Victor Balata where he was employed for over twenty years. After retirement, he worked maintenance for Lafayette Towers. Charles was very mechanically inclined, loved to work on projects and could fix anything. A self-taught guitar, fiddle and banjo player, he played in a band years ago. He was a lifetime member of various area social clubs. Surviving are two daughters, Tina Boncher and her husband John, of Ogdensburg, NY, and Machelle Little and her husband Chris, of Wilson Borough; a son, Dwayne Clark, of West Easton; five grandchildren, Laura Boncher, Christina Kelly and her husband Ryan, Chad Little and his wife Megan, and Dwayne Clark, Jr. and his wife Richelle; six great-grandchildren, Kaceden, Silas, Georgia, Austin and Penelope; a brother, Richard Clark and his wife Kathy, of Palmer Township; two sisters, Audrey Lore, of Nazareth, and Cathy Horinko, of Palmer Township; a brother-in-law, Don Ostrander, of West Easton; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Michael Clark and Charles R. Clark, Jr., a grandson, Cori Clark, a great-grandson, Kaleb Brauchle, a sister, Barbara Ostrander, and a brother-in-law, John Lore. Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 23rd, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 10-11am in the funeral home.
