Charles Kidd Obituary

Charles "Butch" Wesley Kidd, 81, died July 3, 2025 in his Muhlenberg Township residence. He was the husband of Karen Sue (Fidler) Kidd, whom he married June 21, 2008. Born August 24, 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma, he was a son of the late Frank L. and Anna Mary (Williamson) Kidd. He was employed for 38 years as a grid blaster with AT&T, Muhlenberg Township. Butch enjoyed going to antique car shows. He is also survived by two children: Stacey, wife of Bud Reinecke of Reisterstown, Maryland and Jeffrey Kidd of Baltimore, Maryland, and four step-children: Kimberly A. Norquest, April Swoyer, Tammy Deysher, and Shane Swoyer. Butch was the proud grandfather of three grandchildren: Lauren Kidd, Lindsey Kidd, and Henry Reinecke; four step-grandchildren: Cody Dunlap, Savannah Deysher, Nevin Deysher, and Chase Swoyer; two great grandchildren; and one step great grandson, Jace Dunlap. Other survivors include two sisters: Linda Zellinger and Leslie McBride. There will be no public services. Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
