Charles Allen Miller

Charles Allen Miller, 72, husband of Cecile Ann (Boire) Miller, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home in Barto. Born in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Allen Miller and Beatrice (Shultz) Osborne. Charlie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping and watching football and NASCAR. Charlie was a skilled woodworker and could often be found tinkering in his pole barn working on various projects. Surviving along with his wife, Cecile of 52 years, is his son Charles Miller Jr.; daughter Christy Sowell, wife of Chris; brother Jim Miller, husband of Pam; sister Brenda Clukey; sister Joy Bauer; sister Tracy Duperron, wife of Donald; brother in law, Gary Boire, husband of Linda; sister in law Susan Mercier, wife of Sam; and sister in law Julie Duprey, wife of Tim; and grandson Charles "Trey" Miller III. He is predeceased by his stepfather Roy Osborne, sister Jennifer Barr, and brother Roy Osborne Jr. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073). Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 9:00am-10:15am at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave, Gilbertsville, PA 19525).
