Obituary of Christa M. Catania Christa M. Catania Christa M. (Callahan) Catania, 59, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born in Norristown, Pa on July 29, 1965, the daughter of the late Timothy and Dolores "Sally" (Danz) Callahan. Christa has been living in Conshohocken for over 20 years, formerly of Lafayette Hill, Pa. She graduated from St. Philip Neri Grade School and Archbishop Kennedy High School. She held a variety of roles throughout her life, including secretary at Wescott Financial, bartender at Casmar and working alongside her family at Advanced Concrete. Of all her jobs, her favorite was being a dog groomer, where her love for animals truly shined. She was the wife of James V. Catania whom she married in 2008. Survivors include Husband James Catania of Conshohocken, Pa, Mother Dolores "Sally" Callahan of Lafayette Hill, Pa, Step Son Jason (Alix) Catania of Conshohocken, Pa, Step Son Keith (Becky Fleming) Catania of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, also survived by her Grandchildren Ella, Matthew, Jed, Chloe, James, Carter and Charles, who lovingly called her "Coolma". Along with her father she was preceded in death by her brother Timothy K. Callahan, Jr. Her Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 5:30 PM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. Friends may call on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a local animal shelter or rescue organization.
