Christine Tranovich Obituary

Christine Lynn Tranovich, 60, passed away on May 5, 2025 at Reading Hospital. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Daniel and Patricia (Moyer) Tranovich. Christine was a graduate of Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia, where she lived and attended school from ages 4.5-21. She loved visiting her family on the weekends and holidays. After graduating, she transitioned into a community living program with Freelander. Upon moving back home, she entered the Prospectus Berco program. Christine was a caring sister who cheered on her siblings at every game during their childhood. Over the years, she enjoyed swimming, horseback riding, and bowling with her family. In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her siblings: Jeffrey (Christine), Craig (Laura) and Kyle (Dana) Tranovich. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as her uncle, Larry Moyer (Midge). Services will be private. Kuhn Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tranovich Family. Dear Pat, Danny, and all of your family, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Christine. I remember her from many years ago when Barry and I visited you. She lived a remarkable life even with her blindness. May God watch over all of you.
