I am so sorry to hear of Claire's passing. When I first joined the college, I met Claire through our professional development. She was so easy to talk to and helped me navigate my shift from middle school teacher to college instructor. It was as if she had a sense that people needed a smile, a hello, or a few moments of her time. She was very busy with her responsibilities, but she always made time for others. Her students felt this, too, and that is why her legacy will live on in each student she helped in her wonderful career. Rest in Peace.

I first met Claire as a student of mine and was delighted to see her evolve into a colleague at the College with me! She was wonderful wtih students, intelligent and curious and very hard working. She gave great support and inspiration to all of her students, year after year. Our community felt her loss when she retired, and our world feels her loss now. Love to her family during this challenging time.

My deepest condolences to Claire's family and friends. I worked at MCCC with Claire for many years. She was a wonderful, caring professor that was loved by her students and a great friend. She will be deeply missed by her colleagues and I will never forget her warm smile. Farewell and rest in peace.

I haven´t seen Claire for years. But, I have such fond memories of Claire all the way back to when we were both working part-time at the college. She was always supportive, kind, and inclusive to those she worked with and mentored. She cared so much about the well being of others as she demonstrated with her commitment to healthy eating and nutrition. I know that she made a difference in the lives of countless students. God rest her soul. My condolences and prayers to the family.

My heart is sad as we say goodbye to a very encouraging courageous woman who touched my life . So thankful i was able to pray with her the Sunday before she entered the hospital. I will always remember how happy she was when her hair started to grow back after chemo and she was so enjoying the "new Look" so much a wig was a thing of the past!! Farewell my precious friend. See you on the other side.
