Cynthia Hunsberger Obituary

Cynthia J. Hunsberger, 69, of Chester, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Born January 10, 1956 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Shirley A. (Diefenderfer) Hunsberger. Cynthia had a strong Christian faith and was always eager to share the Good News with others. She was a big animal lover and fostered and rescued many dogs, cats and horses. Cynthia was a graduate of Emmaus High School year of 1974. She earned her CDL license. She worked and retired from the transportation system of Charlotte, NC. She is survived by brothers, Barry B. and wife Elda Hunsberger, and Randolph C. "Randy" Hunsberger, sister, Sherry A. Mattrazzo, niece, Mary E. wife of Justin Abramowicz, uncle Joseph E. and wife Mary Hunsberger, and numerous cousins. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to animal rescue of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Miller Funeral Home, Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
