Daniel Shead Obituary
Dan was known for his hardworking nature and incredible work ethic at Delco Metals and Caddick Construction Co. He enjoyed competitive catfishing and was known as Dan the Catfish Man. He looked forward to going to the Poconos, especially Eagle Lake and was an avid hunter. Dan was an active member for over 30 years of the Bridesburg Outboard Club in Philadelphia, where he established life-long friendships and was loved by all. Dan's greatest joy was time spent with his family.
Family and friends are invited to Daniel's Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 18th at St. Helena's Church, 6161 N 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM A funeral mass will follow at 10 AM. Internment services at Oakland Cemetery, Adams and Ramona Aves, Philadelphia PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus. Giving.temple.edu/health or by mail to Temple University Hospital, 3500 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
