David Hewitt Obituary

David W. Hewitt, 82, of Douglassville, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 29, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of George and Mildred (Davis) Hewitt. David was a dedicated husband and loving father. He earned his bachelor's degree and devoted his career to serving as a Lab Technician. He was very active in his congregation of Jehovah's witnesses. David loved everyone, and his love was reciprocated during his final weeks and days when he had endless visitors of all the people he touched in his life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 wonderful years, Paulette Hewitt, and their two daughters, Patricia and Holly Hewitt; and his sister: Lois Hewitt. He was predeceased by his brother: Kenneth Hewitt. David's family remembers him as a source of strength and warmth, whose love and guidance extended beyond the confines of their home. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Services will be held privately. David will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his unwavering kindness, dedication to his family, and commitment to the betterment of others.
