David Laudenslager Obituary

David R. Laudenslager, 72, of Walnutport, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Donna J. (German) Laudenslager to whom he was married 52 years. Born in Allentown, December 15, 1952, David was the son of the late Robert and Naomi (Kressley) Laudenslager. David was employed as a courier for the Lehigh Valley Health Network for 11.5 years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked at the American Nickeloid Company in Walnutport for 30 years. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Donna; daughter, Melinda Redline (Chris) of Walnutport; son, Robert D. Laudenslager of Walnutport; granddaughter, Katrina Redline (Chase Olson) of Dallas, PA; nieces, nephews and extended family; predeceased by a sister, Darlene Hoffman. Service: A celebration of David's life will be held at the convenience of the family. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. David was a great friend who I shared a similar hobby with. I loved travelling with Dave and David Borilla to various shows and the many jokes and memories that were created at those shows. He was a gentle giant whose heart was a big as he was. Thank you for being my friend and may you rest in peace.
