David John Silverblatt

David J. Silverblatt, 83, of Hanover Twp., passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025. He was the loving husband of Joyce (Gillott) Silverblatt, with whom he shared over 63 years of marriage. Born in Pittsburgh, he was the oldest son of the late Leonard and Mary (Foley) Silverblatt. After attending the University of Pittsburgh, he worked for J.T. Baker Chemical Co. for 19 years and served as Vice President of Sales. In 1992, he became owner of HAMCO Lehigh Valley until retiring in 2015. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by his son, Daniel Silverblatt (Kathleen); daughter, Dina Nickol (Robert); brothers, Thomas Silverblatt, James Silverblatt (Cheryl), Michael Silverblatt (Nadine); sister-in-law, Merry Ellen; grandchildren, Jessica Krautsack (Jonathon), Ryan Nickol, Jenna Silverblatt, Mackenzie Nickol; and great-grandson, Noah. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 8th at 11:00 AM in Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem; where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 10:55 AM.
