David Terfinko Obituary

David D. Terfinko, 76, of Macungie, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 in the Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Rosalie T. (Natalie) Ackerman Terfinko, since 2019. He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine E. (Hinkle) Terfinko. Born in Macungie, he was the son of the late Michael and Elverna (Kline) Terfinko. He was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C., Trexlertown. Before retiring, he worked as a supervisor for Lower Macungie Twp. in the road works dept, where he worked for 30 years. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Lehigh Lodge No. 326 F&AM, Macungie, a 32nd Degree Mason at Allentown Consistory AASR, as well as past Ranger of Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and a member of the Rajah Shrine and the Hillbillies, the Keystone Elk Alliance, Macungie VFW and Lyons Fire. Co. He will be remembered for his love of hunting which included his memberships to the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and Ducks Unlimited. Survivors: Wife Rosalie; brothers Mark and his wife Terri of Macungie, Thomas and his wife Debby of Tallahassee, Fl; step son Terry Ackerman and his wife Kathy of Brick, NJ; step daughter Jaime, wife of Chris Kacsur of Kutztown; 4 step grandsons Zayne, Austin, Ryan, Dominic; niece Angela, nephew, Elliot, great nieces Addison, Anniston, and Amerson. Memorial Service with military honors: 11:00 AM, Wed. April 16 at St. Paul's U.C.C., 1249 Trexlertown Rd., Trexlertown. Calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM. Memorials in lieu of flowers can be considered to the church, c/o the Schmoyer Funeral Home PO Box 190, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
