David A. Walter

David A. Walter, 61, of Reading, passed away Monday, February 10th, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born in Reading, on March 29, 1963, a son of Jean (Waninger) Walter and the late Jack Walter. He was the husband of Joann M. (Zaorski) Walter. David was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading. David graduated from Holy Name High School in 1981 and he worked as a courier for Fed-Ex in Reading for 29 years. In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by a daughter, Nicole, wife of Michael Good and a son, Noah Walter, partner of Rebecca Kibler. David is also survived by two sisters, Kathy Metz and Mary Polyak; four brothers, Steve, Mark, Mike and John. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren: Liam and Charlotte. David was an avid Steelers and Phillies fan. He loved his family fiercely, especially his loving wife, his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time playing quoits, fishing, camping, going on family beach vacations to OBX and Wildwood and spending his afternoons poolside. His fight was honorable until the very end and he will be missed every single day. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 18th at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at the church.
