Denise Scheffler Obituary

Denise M. Scheffler, 61, of Macungie, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown. She was the daughter of Betty (Holben) Scheffler and the late George Scheffler, sister to the late Sharon Redman. Denise graduated from Emmaus High School in 1982. She dedicated many years of her career to Gold Toe, JCPenney, and Mack Trucks, ultimately concluding her professional journey at GXO Logistics. Beyond work, she was a nationally recognized player in women's fast pitch softball and continued her support of the Lehigh Valley softball community throughout her life. An enthusiastic reader and devoted movie lover, Denise always found joy in great stories. Survivors: Aunt, Cindy Poniktera, Uncle, Wayne Hyrowich, nephews, Jason Redman (Jacqueline), Randolph Redman II(Leigh), great nieces, Ella, Scarlett and Sophia. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 26th from 11 Am to 3 PM at the Hills at Lockridge Park, 7125 Scenic View Dr, Macungie. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc. in Fogelsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Memorial / Honor Gift Program of the Lower Macungie Library, in care of the Funeral Home, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051.
