Dennis Charles O'Shea

Dennis Charles O'Shea, 76 of Easton, passed away on Thursday morning, December 12, 2024, in his home. He was the beloved husband of Michele D. Bailey-O'Shea with whom he shared 54 years of Marriage. Born in New York City and raised in the Catholic faith, he was a son of the late, Charles and Bernice (Kasitia) O'Shea. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and then went on to receive a BA degree in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and later an AAS degree from Atlantic Community College in Business Management. He also received a professional degree through the American Institute of Insurance. He worked as an insurance claims adjuster and retired in 2008 as a director of corporate human resources with Prudential Insurance Company after 37 years of services. Dennis was also a member of the owners group of Harley Davidson. In his own words: "Dennis OShea passed to a different life on (12/12/2024) at the age of 76. The roles in life I was fortunate to be offered, in order of importance: 1. Husband 2. Father/Parent 3. Brother 4. Son 5. The unconditional love of over 10 puppies who all brought joy to our lives. 6. Friends (PGP) 7. Student. 8. Member of the Military 9. Responsible employee of several companies for 60+years. 10. Harley rider and reader of every Spenser novel. If I were to have a tombstone, it would read: 'I did the best I could with what I had." Survivors: In addition to his wife, Michele, he is survived by his son, Christopher O'Shea and his wife, Belinda; sister, Kim McMurtrie and her husband, Doug; and his loving dogs. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenn O'Shea, who passed in 2023. Service: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
