Diane W. Silverman

Diane W. Silverman, 92, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She and her husband, Dr. Howard A. Silverman, celebrated 69 years of marriage on September 2nd. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Freedman) Weiss. Diane was a long-time member of Temple Beth El in Allentown where she was a member and past president of the Sisterhood and was a graduate of Cedar Crest College, Class of 1988. She was employed as a social worker for Jewish Family Services in Allentown for several years until retiring. Survivors: Husband; Children, Alan J. Silverman and his wife, Marci, Beth A. Silverman and her husband, David Keifer, and Steven T. Silverman and his wife, Maura; Grandchildren, Shauna (Abel), Matthew, Ryan (Lena), Austin and Zachary; and Great-Grandchildren, Henry, Archer, Natalie and Avery. Services: 1 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Temple Beth El, 1305 Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA 18104. Interment will be in Beth El Memorial Park. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
