Dolores Kirschner Obituary

Dolores Kirschner, age 97, of Boyertown, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehablation in Lansdale. The wife of the late Joseph M. Kirschner. Dolores was born in Philadelphia. The daughter of the late Louis Kohn and Frances Dumofsky Kohn. She worked alongside her husband as the bookkeeper for their plumbing business in Philadelphia. Later she was the bookkeeper for many well-known restaurants in Philadelphia. Most of all she loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her other joy was knitting and crocheting. She won many Blue Ribbons at the Oley Fair. She also was a baker and at Christmas she would bake hundreds of cookies. She is survived by her children, Dolores F. Kirschner, Frances Emmitt, Joseph Kirschner and Dennis Kirschner. Also, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dolores was predeceased by a son William Kirschner. A memorial mass will be held Monday morning September 29th at 10:00AM from Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Boyertown Library, 24 North Reading, Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512
