Donald Simmons Obituary

Donald Simmons of Warminster, PA passed away on March 9th, 2025. He was 77 years old. Donald was born in Spangler, PA to the late Earl and Kathleen (nee Teklinsky) Simmons. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Annmarie (nee Gorman) Simmons. He is survived by his children John (Jennifer) Simmons, Deborah (David) Price, and Jennifer Simmons (William Michalski), his grandchildren Shawn, Nicholas, Catherine, William, Evan, Brody, and his siblings Ronald, Janice, and Robert.
Don was a high school graduate of Cardinal Dougherty and married the love of his life, Annie, just before serving his country with pride in the Army 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War where he earned the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Air medal for his heroism. After serving his country, he worked for the U.S. government as a federal police officer and later in defense mapping for 30 years before enjoying an early retirement where he enjoyed time with his wife, grandkids, and his favorite hobbies, watching the Phillies, playing Polish Rummy and Checkers. He even enjoyed a trip to Disney World and multiple trips to the Jersey shore to be with his grandkids. He will be sorely missed.
