Donald Staats Obituary

Donald "Gary" Staats, 65, of Bath, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on June 9, 1960 in Flemington, N.J. to the late Donald C. Staats and Cleata E. (Smith) Staats. Gary had worked as a Fork Lift Operator for Pallet Express. Gary is survived by his nephew, Tyler Weaver and his wife Rosemary, and his great-nieces, Nora and Stephanie. Gary is also survived by many close-knit cousins (CDWWD). In addition to his parents, Gary is predeceased by his sister, Donna M. Weaver who passed in 2012. Gary enjoyed attending Northeast Dirt races, watching NASCAR races, and televised football games. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Texas Longhorns were his favorite teams, and supported them every game. Services: At the request of the family, no services will be held. Gary's services have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's name to the Flemington Speedway Historical Society (FSHS)- P.O. Box 1003, Flemington, NJ 08822.
